Participant check-in will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, during which attendees will receive their accreditation and welcome kits. At 11:00 AM, activities will begin with an opening ceremony held in plenary session. 

For students who have purchased the residential option, a free luggage storage service will be available upon arrival at UCBM. At the end of the day, luggage will be transferred to the designated hotels. 

From Tuesday to Thursday, activities will run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 

On Friday, activities will run from 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM. 

The program includes theoretical lessons, workshops, plenary sessions and opportunities to engage with distinguished faculty members and alumni.

The closing ceremony will take place on Friday from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. During this time, participants will gather in a plenary session for the diploma award ceremony. The event is also open to participants’ families.

Students’ previous academic performance is not considered and there are no entrance selection processes. The only limitation is the maximum number of participants. Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that payment of the participation fee is completed within the established deadline.

Yes, a “residential” option is available, including meals, accommodation and transportation to and from UCBM for the entire stay. Participants choosing this option will stay in double or triple rooms with private bathrooms and breakfast included, in 4-star hotels near UCBM, under the supervision of UCBM tutors.

It is not possible to choose the residence, but you can indicate the name of a same-gender student with whom you would like to share a room.

Medicine and Surgery Summer School: activities are conducted in English. 

Summer School is held in Rome at the campus of the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, located at Via Álvaro del Portillo 21.

Once registration is completed, contacts of a reliable provider with agreed rates will be shared upon request.

During the day, participants are supported by academic tutors (UCBM graduates or undergraduates). Students choosing the residential option will also be assisted by night tutors.

During registration, it is possible to indicate specific needs or support requirements, which will be properly managed by the University.

At the end of Via Álvaro del Portillo 5, there is a free parking area owned by UCBM with capacity for over 220 vehicles. It is located about 300 meters walking distance from the campus entrance.

From the Metro B stop “Laurentina,” you can take bus number 72 and get off at the “Alessandrini/Del Portillo” stop, which is about 100 meters from the campus entrance.

Registration must be made in the name of the student who will participate in the program. For invoicing purposes, different personal details can be provided. During the registration process, a form with accurate and updated student information must be completed. This information is essential for effective communication and for tailoring the Summer School experience to the student’s needs.
